Dear colleagues! The Association "StekloSouz" of Russia announces the start of registration for participation in the International Industry Competition "Leader of the Glass Industry - 2025".

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about the member of the Association StekloSouz of Russia, Sibirskoye Steklo LLC (Sibsteklo): In the context of a personnel shortage, Sibirskoye Steklo LLC (Sibsteklo, the largest glass container manufacturer in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, an asset of RATM Holding) is building a system that allows retaining valuable employees and attracting new ones.

Production of diffuse glass for the greenhouse industry has ceased in Europe, as major German manufacturer GMB-Interfloat has closed its plant and AGC has also stopped supplying. The sector is under pressure from the solar market crisis, high energy prices and low price competition from Chinese and, potentially, Indian glassmakers.

The Russian Environmental Operator will hold explanatory webinars for business representatives on extended producer responsibility (EPR), reporting on the disposal of waste from the use of goods, and the register of recyclers. The series of webinars will end one month before the end of the reporting period.

On March 12, at the Expocentre Fairgrounds, the Smart City project will become a platform for dialogue between leading developers, government officials, and suppliers of innovative solutions, where they will discuss key issues in the development of apartment buildings and the urban infrastructure of the future.

Gus-Khrustalny District celebrated the 180th anniversary of a glass factory. The Meshchera forests of Vladimir Province, rich in timber and quartz sand, became fertile ground for the development of glassmaking. In 1844, Alexander Karpovich Rameykov filed a petition to establish the Ivanishchevskiy Factory near the village of Staraya Akinfiyeva, which began operations on February 28, 1845.

The Administration of the Head of the Region reported that in accordance with the national project "New Materials and Chemistry", the glass industry enterprise "Dagestan Glass Tara" will open a new workshop.

Specialists of Gazprom Gas Distribution Saransk connected the boiler house of the new glass factory in Ruzaevsky District to the gas supply networks. The press service of the Government of Mordovia reported.
