Sibsteklo and Alfa-Bank Issue Green DFAs on A-Token Platform

Dear colleagues, we are publishing news about the member of the Association StekloSouz of Russia, LLC Sibirskoye Steklo (Sibsteklo):

LLC Sibirskoye Steklo (Sibsteklo, one of the leading manufacturers of glass containers in Russia, the largest recycler of glass waste in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts, an asset of RATM Holding) has issued digital financial assets (DFA) in the amount of 150 million rubles. The application process was completed within an hour.

DFA, which provide for a monthly payment of coupon income, are presented on the Alfa-Bank A-Token platform for a period of 9 months at 29% per annum, a fixed rate. The issue is designed for a wide range of investors.

With these funds, the company will replenish its working capital to increase the purchase of glass waste. In 2024, the plant recycled 71 thousand tons of cullet (equivalent to 1,090 railway cars), saving more than 85 thousand tons of mineral resources. In 2025, they plan to use at least 130 thousand tons of used glass.

In addition, part of the money will be used to modernize the equipment to ensure the reliability of the process lines while increasing the speed of glass-forming machines - the increase in productivity is due, among other things, to a decrease in the weight of the bottle (while maintaining the volume and compliance with GOST):

- As part of a sustainable agenda, we are lightening glass containers, thereby producing more products from the same volume of glass mass, without increasing the consumption of raw materials and energy, - comments Anton Mor, CEO of Sibsteklo.

According to him, thanks to the use of innovative financial instruments, the company attracts liquidity for "green purposes": high quality of services, simplicity of operations related to the placement of tokens, a convenient interface for digital financial asset purchasers made it possible to complete the acceptance of applications within an hour.
